Ingredients
- 6 oz. dark chocolate, high quality
- 1 1/2 c. heavy cream
- 1/2 c. half and half
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. jerk seasoning
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Whipped cream and toppings of your choice
Instructions
- Place cream, half and half, egg yolks, sugar, jerk seasoning, vanilla, salt and chocolate in a saucepan over medium heat and whisking to combine ingredients. Continue to whisk until mixture just starts to bubble and is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
- Pour mixture into individual serving containers and refrigerate for 6 - 8 hours or until set.
- Let sit a room temperature for 5 minutes before serving.
- Top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, fruit puree, or other desired topping.
